			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Life has been conflicting with training a bit over the past few weeks, especially the J&amp;J party which was last Saturday. Although we are seeing some improvements on our times, not to the level in which we would like. Claire is feeling stronger (and thicker, hahahah) with less pains. I&#8217;m feeling a little stiffness in my ankle. And as far as I know Diane is feeling pretty good. Diane and I did our first timed swim the week before last and clocked 16 mins which is 4 over, so we have some improvements to make there. Claire is already swimming a 1/4 mile in 10, so she is good on that front. We had assumed that biking was our strongest area but hitting the 11 miles in 40 min is more challenging than we though, right now we are focusing on 5.5 in 20, which I&#8217;m very close too, but extending that to 11 is going to be rough. Overall the end goals seem a little out of reach right now, but I think if we can just refocus and make sure to do all our training things will start turning around. I just need to figure out how to fit it into my days.</p>

Claire met with a trainer last week about her knees hurting and was instructed to run on the asfault instead of the sideway, she said it was a great improvement. Seeing our goal times has been a kick in the ass, we have a lot of work to do and need to making sure we are on a good pace.</p>

Between all the rain and life it&#8217;s been hard to keep up. Hopefully week four is a little easier on us.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We have finished up our second week of training and we are feeling good.  In gernal we are feeling stronger, Claire is feeling less pain in her knee, meaning her quads are doing more work. Diane and I are seeing a big different in the distance we can run without resting. My ankle is a little weak (from a past injury) but I&#8217;m icing and hoping it says a minor issue. Diane had a little fall in a ditch during our run on Sunday but we seems to be recovering well.  Our goals for this week are to continue to increase our running distace to 3 miles, getting in the pool, and I need to address my bike issue (old mountain bike is having some issues).</p>
<p>Week one we were sore, week two we were tired, interested to see what week three will bring.</p>
